Just grab your gloves, boots and skis from the chalet’s heated ski store and head for the snow-sure resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand, just a few minutes drive away. These resorts are linked to Manigod by a regular ski bus and an Aravis ski pass covers all of them, giving you more than 200km of pistes to explore. There’s great terrain for cross-country skiers too. Non-skiers will find plenty to keep them occupied, with a heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, ice skating rink and cinema, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and horse-drawn sleigh rides.Thrill-seekers should head for the Bun-J-Ride in St-Jean-de-Sixt!
