We live in a fully restored old farm. We have only one guest room to ensure tranquillity. There is a private pool, reserved only for guests and with no neighbours around, you will have total privacy. The room includes a sleeping area with air conditioner, new bedding, memory-foam pillows, a large wardrobe, a safe, a silent fridge (with a bottle of mineral water and a bottle of local rosé wine), a Nespresso machine (with capsules), all provided gracefully. The room was renovated this year with beautiful materials and high quality finishings throughout. The large bathroom includes a walk-in shower, a double sink, a 1m90 free standing bathtub that can accommodate 2 people and some high-end Italian fittings. The bathroom and toilet are separated. Bathrobes, towels and bath towels are provided. Breakfast is all homemade (fresh fruit juice, jams, organic eggs, organic milk, cakes, honey from Ansouis), except for the Viennese pastries, and is served under the awning in front of the swimming pool. Call us if you need a delivery of pizzas, sushis or hamburgers for the evening of arrival or if you want us to book a restaurant.
We are a sixty year-old couple, Ms was nurse and Mr is a GP, not yet retired. We like music, painting, photography, motorcycling, traveling and cooking. One of our children is a golf professional in a golf club nearby. A second lives in Vancouver, Canada. Our daughter works in St. Andrews, Scotland, also in the golf business.
We live in Provence, in the South Luberon, the valley of Aigues precisely. We are surrounded by beautiful AOC luberon vineyards, olive trees, truffle trees and hills. We have a view of the mountain of Sainte Victoire to the south and the mountain of the Luberon to the north. The village of Ansouis is classified among "the most beautiful villages of France". There are many castles and beautiful villages nearby such as Lourmarin, Cucuron, and Grambois. Within 15 minutes drive: La Roque d'Anthéron and its world famous Piano Festival. Within 25 km: Aix-en-Provence and the always lively Cours Mirabeau, the Opera Festival, the exhibitions of the Granet and Caumont museums, the numerous shops of the pedestrian center, the night life... Within 50 km: Avignon and the Theater Festival, the "off" Festival, the Palace of the Popes, the vineyards of Chateauneuf-du-Pâpe. For a one-day trip: Moustiers and the gorges of Verdon, Arles and the Camargue, Marseille and the Calanques. Possibility to loan golf clubs if you want to play a game of golf at Pont Royal or the Golf du Luberon. There are several Michelin-starred restaurants in the area. You need to call us early to get a reservation.
