Enjoy the high life in Barcelona. The apartment, Torres Rojo, is the perfect base to explore Barcelona. It is spacious, bright, stylish, and modern with wooden floors and white walls decorated with artwork. , It has two bedrooms: one is double-bedded and one is single. It also has a small balcony that overlooks the rooftops of the Gracia neighbourhood and has views of Tibidabo. The well-equipped apartment is on the fourth floor of an imposing listed modernist-style building, in a quiet street. There is no lift. It's central location is within walking distance of Paseo de Gracia with it’s upmarket shops restaurants and famous Gaudi buildings. Also the apartment benefits from the wealth of local shops restaurants and cafes on the doorstep in the charming narrow streets and squares of Gracia.

What I found particularly wonderful about finding this apartment in Gracia was its proximity to many of Barcelona's fine Gaudi buildings, its art galleries, museums and of course Parc Guell. When I am not spending time out and about visiting these places there is an accessible gym (Eurofitness) on a daily or weekly basis.

Gracia The area has a distinctive bohemian feel with a wealth of funky bars, restaurants galleries and boutiques. The main thoroughfare, Gran de Gracia, is a continuation of the Paseo de Gracia and the city centre. Like the other older parts of the town, Gracia is crisscrossed by several narrow one-way streets and has at its heart several beautiful old Plazas – perfect for people watching and enjoying long summer evenings. Some of the best are Plaza del Sol and Plaza Revolucion. In August the area is taken over by the Gracia Festival where many of the streets are decorated in a competition between neighbourhoods where people can dance and party through the night. Local transport links are good with buses and metro lines running up Gran de Gracia. The apartment is within walking distance of Fontana, Diagonal and Verdaguer metro stations.
