We acquired Paraiso Park 22 in 2006 as a new built and it has been a home from home for us ever since. It is an ideal home for family holidays as the complex, with only 36 houses, is secure and the gardens with the pools can be overlooked from the main patio of the house so you can "keep an eye" on smaller children whilst you enjoy a glass of wine or fire up the BBQ. There is a kids play area at the back of the complex too. Over the years many of the other owners have become friends and at some point in summer there is always a big BBQ at the pool with whoever wants to join. The house being a home also means there is no "odd glasses" or "only one cooking pot" and "mismatched cutlery" experience here. We want our guests to feel at home and our management agent makes sure that this happens at all times and any questions guests may have are addressed locally and fast. To ensure you can enjoy the house from day 1 there is a manual that explains everything from how appliances work to what TV channels you can get; phone numbers for taxis; restaurants; doctors and so on.

Paraiso Park is located between 2 golf courses. Nearest restaurant (Spanish) is just round the corner, a 30 second walk. There is another, more upmarket, one about a 10 minute walk away. 2 supermarkets, banks, hairdressers, bars and some shops are a 5 minute drive away. If you like walking, or jogging, then the quiet roads of Benavista and Paraiso Alto make an interesting circuit. Benahavis village (10 mins. drive) offers a great selection of restaurants, bars and art galleries. The village also organises a festival in late summer and then its streets are lined with bars. Flamenco dancing into the small hours. If you like a bit of adventure then try rock pool diving and canyoning in the river leading to the village. Puerto Banus (10 mins) offers a great selection of shops and at the marina you can admire the yachts, super cars and spot celebrities. Alternatively just hang out at the beaches. Marbella is worth visiting for the beaches, the Old Town and shops. The nearest beach is in San Pedro (5 mins.)
