The Palacio Buenavista is the result of a complete and thoughtful restoration of an original Sevillian house with patio dating back to the 17th century and having huge historical and architectural value. Its structure now houses 12 stunning apartments, whilst preserving, intact, all the remarkable structural architectural elements of the period, evocative of long sojourns in the patio, shared experiences in the common areas, al fresco evenings in the gallery, sunbathing on the rooftop terrace, and, above all, peace and quiet.
Home at Homes was created by two people: Karin Wallis, half English and half Swedish has lived most of her life in Madrid and Nono de Barco, 100% Sevillano down to the marrow, has lived in Seville all of his life.
Calle Cano y Cueto is in one of the most centrally-located areas of Seville. Perfect for exploring the historic buildings and Baroque essence of the city, the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the legacy from the Expo held in 1929, and the myriad cultural and leisure opportunities that this city by the Guadalquivir has to offer. All of it within walking distance, to be explored on foot, at your own pace. But there is also public transport, with numerous bus and metro options just around the corner. Or you can cycle, if you prefer, taking advantage of Seville’s cycle lanes. And even if you come by car, parking is not a problem as there is a public parking facility available right next door. The picturesque Barrio de Santa Cruz is a charming maze of narrow whitewashed streets where, in times gone by, famous literary characters roamed, legendary love stories were played out, and duels were held. It is the perfect place from which to explore Seville, being strategically located between the historical centre, the Real Alcázar (or Royal Palace), the Cathedral and Giralda, the Murillo Gardens and the Maria Luisa Park.
