Marco is probably the best host anyone can imagine! Super sweet, helpful, organized, … I could go on for hours :) His place is just incredible! We think of it as the Hollywood/Malaga-Hills! Stunning views, quiet, peaceful, easy to get to and close to Competa. Breakfast was just amazing! Pool, room, building etc. were in perfect shape, and we could tell- there is a ton of love going in it! All in all the perfect spot to check out the area! Thanks again and hopefully we will be there again soon! :)

La Madrugada is set 3.5 km outside Cómpeta, on the edge of Sierra de Tejeda Nature Reserve. It features a heated outdoor pool which is open from March till mid November, and various terraces with impressive mountain and sea views. Free parking and WiFi, perfectly suitable for home office, is available. This charming bed and breakfast offers spacious and elegant decorated rooms. They all include air conditioning which can also be used for heating. The Casita is an apartment and has its own kitchenette, television, private bathroom and air conditioning/heating. This apartment (31 m2) is suitable for maximum 4 persons. Breakfast is not included in the price. The terrace is private and has a barbeque. Breakfast is included and packed lunches can be prepared upon request. A range of restaurants can be found in the nearby village. The property features various terraces offering views of the sea and La Maroma Mountain. There is also a large, circular living room with an honesty bar, fireplace, library and a TV. Tourist information is available for guests. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and cycling. Nerja is only 40 minutes' drive away while the Costa del Sol can be reached in 30 minutes by car.The city of Málaga and the airport can be reached by car in an hour.

The moment you arrive you will feel at home and be amazed of the stunning views to the sea and the mountains. The shared living room will give you a feeling of being at home, with a big sofa, television and dining table. You can also perfectly do some home office here with good internet connexion.
I am Marco and I moved to this beautiful place some years ago, leaving behind a stressful job. I absolutely love the life here in southern Spain where the people are very social and where you can really enjoy life. I have always wanted to have a Bed and Breakfast and now I am living my dream in a beautiful house and area. I love having guests and I am trying to give them a relaxed time, away from stress.
After leaving the motorway you will immediately be surprised of the beauty of the green hills, little villages and tranquillity of this region. The winding road will bring you to Competa in about half an hour, where you will find nice restaurants, white houses with lots of plants and flowers in a real Spanish environment. The beach is never far away and the National Park is at it's doorstep with beautiful hiking trails waiting for you.
