The "Casita del Almendro" is a cozy house with a private terrace completely renovated. It is located in the district of Tiradores (old Jewish quarter in the 14th century), in the lower part of the Old Town, 100 meters away from the "Antigua Muralla-Puerta de Valencia", where you can access to the "Plaza Mayor". From the house, going for a walk you can visit the main tourist attractions, as well as go shopping, "tapas" or drinks, taste the gastronomy of Cuenca or enjoy the pleasant walk through the Hoz del Huécar, which leads to the emblematic "Casas Colgadas" and "Puente San Pablo" in just 10 minutes. 250 m. is the Paleontology Museum "MUPA", a good place to go with children. The House has 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a full bathroom, living room and kitchen, fully equipped. Upstairs there is a full bathroom and two bedrooms, which are perfectly equipped with bedding. The master bedroom has beautiful views of the Mangana Tower and the "skyscrapers" of the old town. The house is fully maintained and equipped to make your stay in this magical city "World Heritage" an unforgettable experience.

Although I'm from Cuenca, I live in another city, so my house allows me to keep my roots alive. I love walking along the Huécar promenade and "getting lost" in the old town of this special World Heritage City. It is something that fills you with energy and that you can not miss on your trip. The "Casita del Almendro" is in the quiet and traditional neighborhood of "Tiradores Bajos", next to the "Antigua Muralla-Puerta de Valencia" (old entrance door that gave access to the medieval city and from which you can access the upper part of the town old), a few meters from the Auditorium where the "Religious Music Week" is celebrated. A very quiet area, without traffic noise, which does not seem to pass the test of time. A neighborhood with streets full of charm, with a multitude of colorful houses, from which beautiful views of the Old Town of Cuenca are contemplated. In the vicinity of the house there are supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants, bakeries, parks, bars, the municipal swimming pool ... At 250 meters from the house there is bus line 6, which leads to the new part of the city, the downtown area and the bus and train stations, among other places. Although, to know the main points of tourist interest and the center of the city it is not necessary to move in any means of transport. You can park the car for free in the vicinity of the house (approximately 150 meters away) and forget about it during your stay. All places are in one step!
