My husband is the direct owner of apartment centrally located Edificio Hawaii apartment 28D which is very popul all year round. We decided to rent our properties (wehave five great properties in great locations) for summer and short term lets in 2013 and 2015 and have received great TripAdviser reviews as our philosophy is to treat people as our guests. As we have a keylock safe in all of our 5 properties guests arrive at any time depending on whether we have guests departing on the same day but normally we can work around the timing of guests so that no one is inconvenienced. Felipe and I are supposed to be retired but we like meeting new people and enjoy hosting our guests. We have a small team of helpers and can usually rectify any problems which may occur in the shortest possible time as my husband being spanish and local knows all of the local mechanics and specialists. The administration and management of the properties all the year rests with myself and my husband drives the car and greatly assisted with specialist local technical help if needed. We are kept really busy and if necessary are also assisted by his grandson should we take a holiday ourselves.

Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom is situated on the 2nd floor of centrally located Edficio Hawaii at the far end of Calle Canarias. It is also in close walking distance to Burriana Beach and the local market held on a Tuesday and the flea market held on a Sunday morning. The Edificio swimming pool is open from 1 May until end of October. There are many unique selling points for potential guests apart from the location. One is the south facing wide terrace thus the sun arriving at sunrise to sunset - it is alsokind of semi detached so very private, the position at the far right end of the Edificio means it has no other apartments at the back or front with no persons needing to walk pass to get to their apartment. The other main feature is how beautifu the surrounding gardens are kept and maintained by the president of the community and his wife who are both keen gardeners. So you can imagine how well kept this edificio is all the year round with Xmas decorations filling the hallway entrance and the flowrs and plants reflecting the seasons too. There is a walkway through palm trees at the back of the Edificio for easy access to local supermarkets Mercadona and SuoerSol and town.

Edificio Hawaii is situated at the end of Calle Canarias. This area is one of the last remaining green and peaceful zones close to Burriana beach which is a family beach offering many restaurants (including the famous Ayos on the first line beach at the far end) and shops. Our apartment has a large south facingterrace & the sun adorns this area from wunrise to sunset. Our information pack provides a wealth of important notes and houses the wifi access codes. Inside this pack there is information such as maps, walking routes around Nerja, places to visit within a short travelling time from Nerja such the Nerja Caves, Frigiliana, Malaga and Granada. The local bus station is just 15miins walk away and in the height of the seaons such as July and August a bus the mountain villa of Frigiliana is to be recommended. Guest can easily walk to the Balcon de Europa in 15 to 20 mins using the beach walk/and other town walks as decribed on one of our information sheet. There is a golf course just half an hour drive away and at Burriana beach there are many watersports activities availabile. The Aqua Parks of Terre is open in the summer season providing a free bus.
