If you like accommodation with the story (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elevador_de_Aguas_de_Gordejuela), this is the right place for you. On one hand close to the civilization, on the other one away from the hustle and bustle of the Canary Islands. If available, choose Gordejuela 2, the terrace above the sea is worth it. Mind you, it's good to have a car. Note that the end of the road is bumpy.

Gordejuela is a stunning house situated in a privileged location along the famous Rambla de Castro in Los Realejos. It offers spectacular ocean views and has private access. The house was built in 1905 and was completely restored in 2008 using high-quality wood. It combines modern elements with its original antique charm, maintaining its stone walls. The house consists of two individual sections. The one being offered here features an open kitchen and living room, two bathrooms, an open bedroom on the upper floor, and another separate bedroom. On the terrace, you'll have plenty of space to dine or enjoy the sun on the sun loungers. Rambla de Castro is a protected area spanning 45.9 hectares, renowned for its scenic beauty and home to a significant population of Canary Island palms, including some dragon tree specimens, as well as various plant and animal species, particularly birds. The Gordejuela Water Elevator, an old hydraulic pumping station in ruins, is visible from the Castro mansion and many other parts of this natural setting. This structure was constructed in 1903 by the Hamilton House and stands as a landmark achievement of its time due to the challenging terrain and the installation of Tenerife's first steam engine inside. Its purpose was to utilize water to generate power for a flour mill in Gordejuela and transport it to the banana cultivation areas in the Orotava Valley.
