Two different apartments -choose the right for you- Mediterranean flare views and good location (quiet area 5 min from San José Main Street). Both decorated in light colors, have some art and local pottery (slightly ‘bohemian’ or quaint), with lots of light and nice views (mountains and a some sea). No TV, there are books in Spanish & English + WIFI. ‘El Pimentero’ has a wide living room with dining room area (nice table) and resting area (a sofa a small table and TV with basic channels). Independent and big kitchen (stove, microwaves, laundry machine) window to the pepper tree. Small bedroom with window to the balcony (the closet is outside, near the bathroom). There are two chairs and a small table in the balcony (not exclusive area). ‘El Patio mediterráneo’ has small living with basic kitchen a table with chairs and sofa. Open space to the bedroom and door to a wide terrace/pario with view (10-12 m2 exclusive for this apartment) with a dining table and chairs. The bedroom has a wide closet and a window to the terrace. Both kitchens (kitchenette in ‘Patio Mediterráneo’), have fridge (smaller in Patio),toaster, coffee pot, etc. Both bathrooms are brand new, with shower.

II'm from Madrid but I have a place downstairs and I might be around (depending upon year and season), you can ask if you need anything during your stay (if I’m not around, you can contact me by phone and I’ll do my best or call a neighbor). San José is my summer place since I was a little child so I know the area quite well. Love plants and I have many pots with aloe, Yuca, cactuses... around –please be careful with them (do no put sand in the pots and don’t move them please). Love nature and outdoor sports, art, live music, gastronomie... and I enjoy the silence and bird trills that we have here most of the time –please respect the quietness of the place and the rest of the neighbors-. I speak English and some French.

A quiet street but just 5 min from bars, restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. San José is a village in the heart of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park (volcanic landscapes, wild beaches, beautiful coves, fishermen villages, some castles and ancient towers, amazing under water’s life). The biggest village in the Park, and it has many services (restaurants, bars, supermarket, pharmacy, doctor, dive centers, rentals for sport activities, marina). Many hours of sun during the year, amazing days in fall and Winter, but also, as a cape, some windy days (mountains, act as a barrier, ask me for advice). Winter is wonderful to relax, do sport and enjoy nature, but some business may be closed so is for quiet people who enjoy themserves. The village is located by the coast, has a wide bay with four beaches. You can walk or rent a bike and ride to Genoveses or Monsul beaches, coves in the area, rent a kayak, a paddle board, or stop by Isub Diving Center 4 min from here. As a Natural Park, you should respect nature, and don't leave garbage anywere. The street is steep and ends by the house –I recommend to stop by the entrance, download baggage and park down the same street-.
