Situated in the neighbourhood of Mas Milà, in Olivella. In the northern part of Garraf county, in the interior of the Natural Park, and among vineyards and Margalló palms one finds this picturesque town of little more than 3.500 inhabitants. The district of Olivella consists of the village and 5 urbanisations: Mas Mestre, Can Milà, Mas Milà, las Colinas and Can Surià. The village is situated on a small hill known as Puig Cabot and its houses are grouped around the church of Sant Pere and Sant Felix. Olivella has a rich variety of festivals and traditions, as well as the possibility of enjoying excellent Catalan cuisine, all within a setting of natural peace and beautiful unique scenery. In-between La Plana Novella Park and Olivella, there is an Astronomical Observatory that runs the activity "Painting with Wine and Astronomy". At night time, you will learn how to paint a Wine Moon, taste 3 different cavas D.O. Penedès and learn about the stars. Not far away there is the Palau Novella, an extravagant and eclectic palace dating from 1892. It is currently owned by the Sakya Tashi Ling Buddhist community, which organises meditation and yoga workshops, as well as guided tours.
