The location was beautiful and tranquil. Our flat was above an amazing 'clothing optional' beach with lovely black sand. I woke up every morning to the sounds of the surf below. We even had our own little balcony and a wee grassy common spot with tables and a barbecue. The kitchenette was well stocked with tools and cleaning supplies and our host provided us with a toaster upon request. Our Host was cheerful and very approachable. She gave us a bigger room for the first two days that it was empty and delivered a large bottle of wine to each apartment on Christmas Day. I came home happy, refreshed and with the sounds of the ocean in my mind.

We loved the privacy that each apartment have and all the nature around. We really recomend to take a walk around the Finca and discover all of the surprises. Our apartment was really comfortable and bigger than we expected before arrival. It would be perfect also for a longer stay than a few days. The place is very calming and quiet so you can relax, but it's also easy to get to the city, just a few minutes by car. The host is very nice and the local wine is delicious, you need to try it.

A great secluded spot in the middle of a banana plantation. close to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches with waves. great view from the house, inside there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Detailed and clear instructions for settling. Nearby there is a wonderful restaurant with excellent cuisine.

Second review - this time from the point of view of my parents who stayed in Ap. 4 on the western end of the "Finca El Rincon" plot. Great stay, view of the ocean and Puerto de la Cruz. Ap. 4 is right in front of the water reservoir used to water the banana plantation. You can still hear ocean waves crushing on the rocks, down below the property. Room is not spacious, but has enough space for 2 adult people. The bathroom is refreshed (especially comparing to the Ap.6 "Casita") and has all the necessary amenities (including eg. microwave). You have your own small terrace and some sunbeds down below (along with accompanying duck :) ) In case you travel in winter, like we did, you have a pretty powerful electric heater placed on the wall.

Actually it was my second visit here (first one in 2021), so that already shows that everything was great in here. And again, in 2023, it proved to be the best choice for me and my family (together there were 5 of us, me and my wife and son stayed in "Casita" (Ap. 6) and my parents stayed in the apartment on the western side of the plot. Lovely garden, great views of the ocean and the cliff on the eastern side (La Quinta/Santa Ursula). Casita is spacious enough for 2 adults and a child. We were given a baby cot (visible on the photo) for our 10-month old son. Parking is available for guests (the one near "Casita" can accommodate 3 cars, same goes for the one near apartments). You have a private door to the cliff to go to the Los Patos beach (finally opened!)
