I have lived on the island for 33 years, I came for a weeks holiday 33 years ago and never left! That obviously means that I love the island! So I can certainly point you in all the right directions for things to see, places to eat or visit etc. I also own the biggest surf shop on the Canary Islands and as a guest at my apartment you can get 20% off on anything from the shop. Sports wise I do a lot of water sports as well as racket sports and usually go hiking every Sunday. I also play bridge at the local club so if you need help with any of those activities I can help, My daughter Hanna was born on the island and also helps with the business. The apartment is situated in the old town of Puerto del Carmen with panoramic views of the harbour, the complex has a shared pool with large terraced areasIt's located on the second floor. It's a studio apartment with a new fully fitted kitchen. The apartment has a spacious south facing balcony with dining table and chairs as well as air conditioning, TV and WI-FI. The apartment is close to the harbour and numerous restaurants and supermarkets as well as chemists and shops. The apartment is a studio apartment 40 m². There's a large double bed, fully fitted kitchen and a bathroom with walk in shower. The balcony has a table and chairs for dining outside. There's also a sofa bed which can accommodate 2 extra people. We provide iron, internet (Wi-Fi), hair dryer, air conditioning, communal swimming pool, TV and Netflix. The kitchen is fitted with fridge freezer, microwave, oven, dishes/cutlery, kitchen utensils, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and juicer. SWIMMING POOL AND GARDENS The complex has a large shared swimming pool surrounded by a large communal sunbathing area. The complex has shared washing machines.

The old town of Puerto del Carmen is a bustling fishing village with lots of great restaurants and There's a great local market every Friday morning. There is a spa supermarket 50 metres from the apartment and free parking just outside. THE ISLAND: Lanzarote enjoys year round good weather, great winter sun location being only 4 hours flight from the UK and northern Europe. Most famous local attraction is the Timanfaya National Park where you can see the most amazing volcanic lunar landscape. There are lots of other attractions not to miss like the caves at Jameos del Agua, the green caves, Mirador del Rio, El Golfo, the Sunday market at Teguise, Cesar Manrique's house, the cactus garden and the wine growing region at La Geria. There are countless magnificent white sand beaches aswell as the famous black sand beach at El Golfo. The island is ideal for watersports such as surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, diving, snorkelling, fishing, boating, golf and swimming. The island is famous for triathlon and especially it's ironman international event. The island is a cycle paradise both for road and off road enthusiasts. There are fantastic sports facilities all over the island.
