If you are lucky, you can round off the day by cooking your catch on the barbecue on the terrace by the house. Enjoy the excellent swimming opportunities on the extensive beaches along the North Sea as well as the clear swimming lake 'Skavemosen' with fine sandy beach, which is especially recommended for guests with small children. Among the various activity options in the area are a forest playground and mini golf. In Nissum fjord you can do excellent windsurfing, especially from the fishing village of Thorsminde. There you will also find the stranding museum, which offers insight into everyday life aboard the English warships St. George and Defence. For an excursion, the beautiful old trading town of Ringkøbing, known as the city of red roofs, with charming cobbled streets, is only half an hour by car from the house.
