The bathroom is shared with just one other room. Very clean and spacious, well-equipped kitchen. There is also a huge living room including some board games. Very nice host.

We have our lovely guesthouse located in the middle of Hovedgaden in Nordby on Fanø. This means that it is not far from the ferry (300 meters), shopping, restaurants, shops, 75 meters from the municipality, etc. Yes - we are right in the "butter hole" of cobblestone streets where there are thatched houses and lots of atmosphere. In summer, here is a "late night", which means that it takes place just outside the harbor. These nights are here a definite sum of holiday, ice, events and lots of guests.
Yes, my name is Lone and lives on top of our guesthouse, where we have our own entrance. The guesthouse is on the north side of the house. I am married to Martin and we have 3 children who are so old that they move from home to read on. I am a lecturer at the public administration which takes place in Esbjerg. So I commute to Esbjerg every day. I love Fanø. I'm not originally from here but from Copenhagen. I moved to Fanø 25 years ago and I never come from here again .... It is "a gem in the Wadden Sea" where there is room for everyone and nature is a highlight for relaxing and enjoying life.
The guesthouse is located in the center of Nordby on Fanø. Are closest to neighbors to various restaurants and specialty stores. It is the ideal location if you want to be in town where there is walking distance to everything. The ferry is 300 meters from here and the nearest beach 400 meters. The sailing club is a stone's throw away and we have a fantastic tourist office that will always help guide you. Many get married at Fanø - in the municipality. And we are two blocks away from the municipality ... (100 meters) ... From the guesthouse and next to the beach on the west side we have the most amazing beach where there is always the opportunity to be self-sufficient. It is extremely wide and very long and you can drive by car or cycle to Sønderho on the beach. It is 13 km to Sønderho. You can choose to drive through our woods, but just take a break and see our amazing forest playground. It's simply so beautiful. Here you can grill, sleep in the shelter and there are also toilets. Otherwise, Fanø is the setting for a unique nature, where there is ample opportunity to relax and go for long good and healthy walks, to end up in one of our lovely ice houses. :)
