Set in a historic building dating back to 1585, The Old Winery is a self-catering accommodation located in Briedel, beside the Moselle River. Free WiFi access is available. These stylish apartments are bright and colourfully decorated with contemporary furnishings and hardwood floors. Each one features a seating area and a flat-screen satellite TV. This beautiful, listed timber-framed property was built in 1585. The modernisation work was carried out in 1996 by a specialist architect for listed building, old features were retained and restored as much as possible and adjusted to modern standards, such as a gas central heating system, which radiates heat from the plastered walls. The property is divided into 4 units, which were substantially renovated in 2013 and equipped as holiday apartments. They are nicely furnished and very popular with guests from Germany and abroad. The location in the old village centre of Briedel near Zell is quiet and outside the flood zone. In the village, there is a bakery and numerous restaurants and wine bars. The nearby traditional wine growing town of Zell is one of the prettiest and most popular towns in the Mosel valley. It offers an excellent infrastructure with shops, supermarkets, restaurants, doctors, schools, swimming pool and numerous sports activities. The vicinity of Frankfurt-Hahn airport and the motorway A 1 (both approx. 20 km) guarantee easy access to and from all parts of Europe.
