The German Fairy Tale Road, the Weser Renaissance Road, the World Heritage Site of Corvey Monastery and Castle, the Fürstenberg Porcelain Manufactory, Germany's largest open-air museum (the Westphalian Open-Air Museum in Detmold), the Externsteine, the Hermann Monument and much, much more will entice you all around. Numerous health resorts in the area attract visitors with very different attractions. For example, the nearby state spa of Pyrmont, in addition to its famous palm garden of the Hufelandtherme, a zoo and the castle, offers such unusual attractions as a haze cave and sinkholes.
