Situated in a quiet part of Ypres but close to the town centre. Close to many of the locations related to the Great War. Spacious room, bathroom, access to kitchen. There is even a small patio surrounded by bambus. Nice, clean breakfast. Great owner, had conversation about various topics.

In our garden and design you find zen. In the delights of food, drinks, a hot shower or bath, a sauna, a massage, a bike ride into town, a nice walk starting from here you find zest. And vice versa. The inside and outside of this place encourage feel good activities. We can give you advice on how to fill in your day(s) according to your priorities. The majority of the people that come here are very happy, as they were looking for our strong points, authenticity and atmosphere. A small minority was not too happy, as they were looking for the typical star hotel with formality and perfection. Please if you want this don't book here, you cannot expect to get plastic gold by paying for plastic silver....
Before we were travelling each year. Now it is a tremendous experience to have some guests regularly. Them sharing their experiences is not only interesting, it broadens our views, insights and empathy.
You are here ready to jump into a walk or a bike ride, to hit the road direction the coast, the trappist monks, Poperinge, the Messines ridge, Heuvelland,....... while the historical city centre is only 1 mile away. Free parking in abundance. Very calm and quit.
