Staying in our luxury apartment “Croft” in the Hoogpoort Street in Ghent is a pure indulgence. A majestic building from the mid-19th century, beautiful high ceilings, atmospheric lighting and a super hip interior make your time in Ghent the best time ever! Our apartment “Croft” is located on the first floor, which is part of a big former luxury mansion. The building was designed by a famous Belgian architect who put together the initial plans for an estate with mirrored a ballroom. Nowadays the building is completely renovated and equipped with all modern facilities including a lift and underground parking lot. Our apartment was recently fully refurbished with patience and consideration and you can now enjoy the modern contemporary interior, the high ceilings and the warm charm of this historic building. From our apartment you are incredibly close to everything. With plenty of upscale shops and eateries nearby, plus easy access to the popular area of the “Graslei and Korenlei”.

Koen, We have only one holiday apartment for rent, so we are a small player on the market. What we try to do however is make people happy and make sure that they will never forget the time they spend in Ghent. We live in the same building, so this makes it easy if there is a question. Breakfast:: Paul is a very nice place to enjoy a breakfast; located on the “Vrijdagsmarkt” it is very close to our apartment. We can recommend to go via “graffitistraatje” ,which is just besides our building. Fusion Kitchen: Mosquito Coast Mosquito Coast is by far the best restaurant in town to enjoy fusion food. MOSQUITO COAST is a travel restaurant in Ghent since 1999, “An offbeat cafe with an adventurous character”, as they call themselves. About 2 minutes’ walk from our place. Alternative Pizza: Otomat has invented pizzas made from the best beer in the world: Belgian Duvel Beer . All the pizza’s are also served with exclusive Belgian Beers. Three minutes and you are there! Italian: Pane & Vino serves by far the best traditional Italian pizzas from Ghent. The pizzeria is at about 10 minutes’ walking from our place, but it’s worth every minute of it! Ask for Luciano and tell him David has sent you, you will for sure get a free drink. Roberto’s Signature Roberto’s is just across the street! They have delicious pasta’s but no pizza’s. If you ask them nicely, they will also do a take-away which you can enjoy in app.
