Amaaj is located in 't Groen Kwartier (Green Quarters). This formal military base is a car-free park where gardenrooms, orchards and green fields are the new lungs of a bustling town. Sergio Herman and Nick Bril opened two Michelin star restaurant THE JANE next door.
A real Dutchmen, a half-Belgian, half-Dutch and 2 cats of dubious origins. The result? The cats are lazy, restrict themselfs to squander, play and sleep. Sleep alot. Are you in town for business or pleasure Karen and Marco will give you a warm welcome .

AMAAJ is situated in Antwerp, more specifically in the neighborhood Oud-Berchem. A neighborhood balancing ever increasing trendiness while maintaining its working class heritage that adds so much to its current charm. Surrounding streets bustling with life as a result of its varied community; soccer playing kids, shopping parents and local youth hanging around the local squares. Each with their own space, finding each other in mutual respect and often celebrating together.
Within walking distance is the Zurenborg area, known worldwide for its Art Nouveau architecture and also close by one of the world's best kept secrets: the Dageraadsplaats. Different style restaurants offer varied dishes at reasonable prices, bars and café's invite you for pre or post dinner drinks.
The center of Antwerpen, only a few tram or bus stops away, offers you all possible pass times: art, pleasure and fashion. Even if you stay out really late a cab fare will not set you back much.
