Located 800 metres from the centre of Sautens and 3 km from the Area 47 Outdoor Park, Haus Dorothee offers a garden with an outdoor pool and spacious, self-catering apartments with a mountain-view balcony or terace and free WiFi. The stop of the free ski bus is opposite the property. The apartments are furnished in a traditional Tyrolean style and feature a seating area, satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area and a bathroom. Haus Dorothee provides a garden with barbecue facilities, a ski storage room, and free private parking. The closest restaurant is 400 metres away. A grocery store, a bakery and a ski rental store are a 3-minute walk away. Lake Piburg can be reached in a 15-minute walk. The Ötztal Premium Card is included from 30 May until 04 October 2020 and allows free admission and discounts at several local attractions, as well as for cable cars and public transport. Guests at Haus Dorothee enjoy a discounted entry to Aqua Dome.

The "Haus Dorothee" is a slightly older, clean and very cozy house in the "Vorderes Oetztal". In total there are three apartments for rent, the fourth apartment is inhabited by us since summer 2017. When we acquired the "Haus Dorothee" in 2017, we especially noticed the potential of this house. With its fantastic, unique location in Sautens, it is quiet and yet offers a perfect starting point not only for exploring the Oetztal. Already in the first month we started with the modernization. On the one hand we want to preserve the old charm of this house, but also adapt it to the needs of our guests by continuous modernization of the house, the apartments and the whole property. Our guests have a large garden at their disposal and from June to September, the pool is ready for cooling off. The barbecue and the covered seating invite you to end the evening comfortably.
This house is supposed to be a meeting place for people from all over the world, who want to feel completely at home and recover from everyday life. Be it through delightful hikes in the Oetztal, action during outdoor activities, mountain biking or simply relaxing by reading a book in the garden. We are already proud of so many people from as many different countries as the Netherlands, Iran, UAE, Australia, Israel, England, Wales, Switzerland, Spain, France, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Poland, Ukraine and my old homeland Germany have welcomed here as guests.
We are in a very quiet and beautiful location, between meadows and forest edge location. Sautens is located in the "Vorders Oetztal" and is an ideal starting point for excursions and explorations not only in the Ötztal. The village center and the shops are about 700m from our house away. In Sautens there is a doctor, a bakery and a grocery store where you can get fresh bread in the morning, in short, everything you need. Delicious restaurants included. During winter the free ski bus starts about 70m from our house and takes you to the 4km distant ski resort to Oetz. In summer, our spacious garden invites you to relax and linger.
