The apartment is beautifully designed and very comfortable. Thomas and his family were kind and helpful hosts, even doing our washing for us. Very much appreciated after almost two weeks on the road! The area is stunning. The lakeside is within easy walking distance. There is also a decent supermarket nearby.

Our house was built in 1976 by my parents. It is located at the end of a residential street, with the Ruggbach flowing directly beside it. During a complete renovation, we used exclusively ecological building materials - especially wood. Harmoniously nestled in the surrounding nature, it reflects modern Vorarlberg architecture. A separate staircase leads you to the apartment. Wood is our favorite material, so we have used it often and yet unobtrusively. Generous glazing with a balcony overlooking the Ruggbach and its forest creates a wonderful atmosphere and deep relaxation. You will be staying in a self-catering apartment, only about 500 meters from the center of Lochau and about a 10 to 15 minute walk from Lake Constance. The amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, free Wi-Fi, and a furnished balcony. The fully furnished apartment has 2 bedrooms, a sleeping area on the gallery with a double bed, a living room with a sofa and a flat-screen internet TV, and an adjoining living-dining-kitchen area with a dining table for six people. A free parking space is reserved for you.
I am married to Judith. We have two daughters, Johanna and Magdalena.
If you are coming from Germany via the A96, you do not need a vignette, as the vignette requirement was abolished on December 15, 2019, on the section of the Rheintalautobahn (A14) between Hörbranz and Hohenems. Immediately after crossing the border, take the first exit (Lochau / Hörbranz). From there, it is only 1 kilometer to the accommodation.
